Do not use any type of oil on your ironwood.
Keep out of direct sunlight.
If the wood becomes dull, scuffed or scratched you can polish it with brown shoe polish:
1. Apply the polish with a cloth or foam applicator
2. Let sit for a minute or two
3. Buff with a soft brush - a shoe shine brush works well
4. Give a final buff with a soft cloth

Inexpensive shoe shine kits can be purchased in the shoe department of a department store.
